Stanitsa Publishers was established on November 20, 1991 in the city of Kamensk-Shakhtinsky, former Don Cossacks settlement stanitsa Kamenskaya, in the Rostov Region.
After the collapse of the Soviet Union, due to the gradually emerging difficulties in operation resulting from the appearance of borders between the former republics, a branch of Stanitsa Publishers was opened in Kiev in 1994. And when the head office in Kamensk was closed, Stanitsa-Kiev became the rightful successor of Stanitsa Publishers.
Stanitsa-Kiev traditionally publishes fiction and educational literature in Russian, Ukrainian, Spanish and English.
Like any modern company, our publishing house creates innovative products. From the mid-90s, we started to publish truly authentic educational literature called compact-manuals. Gradually, they began to be used in teaching, and now compact-manuals and mini-tutorials, the concept of which was first developed by our company, are widely used in secondary and secondary specialized educational institutions.
